The conference will be held at Het Sieraad (The Jewel), a spectacular example of the Amsterdam School of architecture. Het Sieraad, located in the heart of Amsterdam, was originally built in the 1920’s as a trade school for the city’s working class. Later on, it became a crafts school for goldsmiths and jewellers – hence the name. The Atrium, the main conference hall which is an inspiring and impressive room, featuring a 16-meter high glass roof that fills the entire space with brilliant sunlight. All lecture rooms feature natural daylight and are pillar free.
This iconic building has an amazing location at the confluence of two canals and has been completely restored to its original state. The adjoining café Edel is situated along the waterside, with a terrace overlooking the characteristic Amsterdam canals. An ideal spot for an after-conference-drink, to reflect on the conference, connect with fellow delegates and enjoy springtime Amsterdam!
